ABOUT
Scale is a unique location studio situated in the heart of Liverpool City Centre in the up-and-coming Fabric District. We are an independent company with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
Based in a former printing warehouse, Scale was refurbished back in 2018 by photographer Sonny McCartney into a multifunctional space curated to bring more opportunities to Liverpool and the Northwest. With its 200 capacity, natural daylight and stunning reclaimed maple flooring, Scale became the ideal place for photoshoots, filming, weddings and events.
We are a 10-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street station, 15 minutes by car to the M62 and just 30-minute drive from Liverpool John Lennon airport.

We are a plastic free company, active in encouraging clients to join our mission to get rid of single-use plastic.

We exclusively use eco & animal friendly cleaning products.
All single use-paper (toilet roll, kitchen roll and printed paper) are made of 100% recycled or sustainable paper.
All of our light-bulbs are LED, to keep energy consumption as low as possible.
Any left-over food from productions & events is donated to local charities, where it is distributed to people in need.
We have two active beehives situated on the roof of the Tapestry, owned and managed by a local environmental project by B4Biodiversity
We also work closely with local companies to help support the Northwest economy and to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible.
