HANNAH & JAMES

Hannah & James’ non-traditional wedding was organised to utter perfection, with welcome drinks accompanied by musician Sam Lyons and the ceremony officiated by Emily the Celebrant (with a sing-a-long, may we add). The evening was kicked off with a stellar performance by Back Chat Brass featuring some sneaky saxophonist solos off the mezzanine and a live three sets by THE Sam Wise instead of a DJ. Alongside neon signs and stunning flowers throughout by Dusty Moon (including sprawling off our industrial A-frames), the day was absolutely bursting with colour and music throughout.

A few words from Emily the celebrant:

These two brought their full selves to ceremony planning. everything about their day was chosen with intention. it was exactly as they wanted it… the day just hummed with their energy, and it was such a privilege to be involved.

FRANCESCA & COL

Francesca and Col’s Scottish-infused wedding was one to remember. In front of a stunning archway crafted by Kate at Agnes & Bee against our exposed brick wall, the wedding ceremony was conducted by Francie and Col’s close friends, making it an authentic and personal moment the two will never forget. Followed by an incredibly generous grazing table by Alison and the team at Fig and the Wild, our in-house catering team, and a quick wizz to our friends at the Pen Factory for even more food (in a big red London bus), then back to Scale for a wild evening of ceilidh dancing - the two truly made the day special.

A few words from Kimmy & Ant (Struth Photographers):

“Scale really is a gem of Liverpool! with exposed bricks and amazing staff, it’s no wonder so many couples are booking their weddings there and have booked to take us along with them too!”

ELEANOR & MAX

Making use of the Fabric District area with street art portraits captured beautifully by Wyldbee Photography, with a confetti shot that says it all, Eleanor & Max vested an infectious smile on their faces all day. With a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, food from Fig and the Wild on our well-known rustic trestle tables, and not one… but THREE mouthwatering cakes and a balloon-filled evening of dancing, Eleanor & Max were content with mouthwatering foods and flowing liquids all evening.

From the happy couple:

“We wanted our day to just be us: relaxed, playful, fun, lots of eating, drinking, laughing, and dancing. We aimed to incorporate as much of our loves as possible: houseplants, colours, great live music, tag rugby (how we met), street art, games, good food, and most importantly: our family and friends having the BEST time!”
